Test Automation Engineer for our Bangalore office.

How will you make a difference?As a Test Automation Engineer, you are responsible for understanding the functional or end to end test cases/scenarios and automating the same from scratch. Able to analyse the failures and supports product development team in identifying the defects at early stage. You make sure Test automation is Integral part of the CI/CD pipeline, abiding with its principle of build fast, test fast and fail fast. In summary, we are looking for a resource who is having high self-motivation, initiative, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Your Tasks & ResponsibilitiesFocused on designing, developing and executing automated tests to ensure software quality and efficiency of the productsExperienced with UI automation for web-based applicationsExperienced with API automation testing for Rest API callAble to enhance automation framework with latest available featuresGood coding, analysis and problem-solving skillsResponsible to run analysis on nightly build automation job test results and communicate the defects with Test leadExcellent communication skills and desire to function in a team-based environmentExposure to Scrum or other agile development methodologiesOpen to do functional testing on need basisShould be capable to work on fast paced environment

You are going to stand out if you haveUniversity Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent3+ years of hands-on experience as a Test automation engineerOperating Systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows)UI Automation (Selenium, Playwright) is mustLanguages (Java 8 or above, Java script, Type script), Hands on experience with Type script is mustAPI Automation (Rest assured or equivalent)Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes (QA Perspective)DB tools (Oracle, Mongo, SQL)QA defect tracking and test management tools (Jira/ Qtest))
