The ideal candidate will possess strong automation and system programming experience with a deep understanding of mainframe operations, CICS, and IBM automation tools. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-driven environment.Key Responsibilities : - Support and maintain CICS regions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability.- Perform installation, customization, configuration, and maintenance of mainframe automation tools such as CA-OPS/MVS, IBM System Automation for z/OS, and IBM Tivoli AFOPER.- Develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts using Classic REXX and OPS REXX to streamline operational processes.- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in multi-processor / multi-LPAR environments, ensuring system stability and uptime.- Manage and optimize automation workflows across mainframe and distributed environments (AS400, UNIX, and Windows).- Provide operational support for IBM NETVIEW and related mainframe infrastructure components.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes, upgrades, and new solutions in line with business requirements.- Participate in incident management, problem resolution, and performance tuning activities.- Maintain comprehensive system documentation, standard operating procedures, and change logs.- Act as a key contributor to automation projects, ensuring efficiency and adherence to Ensonos quality standards.- Communicate effectively with clients, project leaders, and team members, providing updates and recommendations as needed.Key Requirements : Technical Skills : 510 years of experience working with : - CA-OPS/MVS with MSF and SSM modules- IBM System Automation for z/OS- IBM Tivoli AFOPER- Proficiency in IBM NETVIEW operations and configurations.- Strong coding experience with Classic REXX and OPS REXX.- Working knowledge of multi-processor / multi-LPAR mainframe environments.- Exposure to multi-platform environments (AS400, UNIX, Windows) is desirable.- Experience with Auto Operator tools is an added advantage.- Familiarity with CA Unicenter NSM, WLM, and MS-SQL is desirable but not mandatory.Professional Skills : - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact effectively at various client levels.- Demonstrated team collaboration and ability to work in cross-functional environments.- Self-starter with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Project leadership or mentoring experience will be a plus.Education : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related discipline.
