If you are passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and solving complex problems, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities :- Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers and development teams to design, build, and maintain highly efficient and reliable CI/CD pipelines using industry-leading tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.- Assist in automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, ensuring consistency and reproducibility across environments.- Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions for application environments, leveraging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or similar, to proactively identify and resolve issues.- Actively participate in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including the provisioning and management of compute instances, networking components, storage resources, and other cloud services.- Help manage secrets, credentials, and configurations securely using best practices and tools such as AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault, or equivalent solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance.- Contribute to writing and maintaining automation scripts using shell scripting (Bash), Python, or other relevant languages to automate routine operational tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve system efficiency.- Participate in regular code reviews for infrastructure code and automation scripts, offering constructive feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.- Provide support to development teams by maintaining and optimizing staging and testing environments, ensuring they accurately mirror production settings to facilitate effective testing and reduce deployment risks.- Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, methodologies, and cloud technologies, actively researching new solutions and contributing innovative ideas to enhance our deployment workflows, infrastructure, and overall system architecture.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.- 0- 2years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role.- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or other relevant languages.- Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g, Docker) and orchestration (e.g, Kubernetes) is a plus.- Solid understanding of networking concepts, Linux/Unix administration, and system fundamentals.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn new technologies.Preferred (Bonus) Skills :- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.- Knowledge of microservices architecture.- Familiarity with database administration (SQL/NoSQL).- Experience with agile development methodologies.- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) (ref:hirist.tech)
