Job Title: .NET Developer (Media Domain)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET developer to join our team in the media domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and high-performance applications using .NET and .NET Core, as well as experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that support our media operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain software applications using .NET and .NET Core, including web applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Develop and maintain MongoDB databases, including data modeling, data migration, and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and quality assurance to ensure alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to .NET and MongoDB applications, including performance optimization, data corruption, and security breaches.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET and .NET Core technologies, including new features, releases, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation, technical guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of .NET and MongoDB applications in production environments.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of application upgrades and migrations, including hardware and software upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation, technical guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with the IT management team to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in .NET development, with a strong focus on .NET Core and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core, including ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and Azure Functions.
  • Experience with MongoDB development, including data modeling, data migration, and data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of .NET security principles, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
  • Experience with .NET performance optimization, including caching, query tuning, and indexing.
  • Familiarity with .NET development tools, including Visual Studio, Resharper, and NuGet.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with source control management tools, including Git and SVN.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, including Jenkins and Azure DevOps.


Media Domain Requirements:

  • Experience with media software applications, including video streaming, audio streaming, and media management systems.
  • Familiarity with media industry standards, including HLS, DASH, and H.264.
  • Experience with media data analytics and reporting, including data warehousing, ETL, and business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of media business processes, including content creation, content management, and content delivery.
  • Experience with media security and compliance, including DRM, encryption, and content protection.
