Job Head of Government Business is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the companys interactions with government entities. This role involves developing strategies to enhance the company's presence and business opportunities within the government sector, managing relationships with key government officials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory Leadership:
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities within the government sector.
- Set annual goals and objectives for the government business Management:
- Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure agreements with government and Regulatory Affairs:
- Stay updated on changes in government policies and regulations that could impact the business.
- Work with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the government business team to achieve set objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team Intelligence:
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market and Analysis:
- Analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, with a significant portion in government or public sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing government contracts and relationships.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as Attributes:
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
