We are redesigning the baby nursery and making it smart, intuitive and delightful.Our first product is a smart crib for babies from 0 to 24 months of age.Cradlewise smart crib comes with an integrated baby monitor that senses early signs of wakeup, learns from the baby’s sleep patterns and starts rocking along with music to soothe the baby back to sleep - just like a momWe are all about sensing, learning and impacting the outcome for the baby and parents.See how it works.Please go through the candidate outreach video link below for more detailsJob location - Phase 2, Hinjewadi, Pune.Reporting to - Plant HeadWorking Days - 6 days - Monday to SaturdayResponsibilities:Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Directs and coordinates global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of production demand.Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up import and domestic logistics.Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.Works with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set the best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).Collaborates with the procurement department to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.Works directly with the sales department to determine the most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.Supports proper utilization of ERP systems.Member of the operations staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.Skills and Attributes: Excellent data analysis and logical thinking skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with international vendors (China, Vietnam, USA)Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional, cross-cultural team membersExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsExcellent organizing and follow-up skillsCompetent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision makingCommercial and Financial acumenYou must have the below basic requirements:B.Tech/Masters in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics engineering.
