- Continuously monitor the performance and health of Java-based government applications using designated monitoring tools.

- Identify and log anomalies, performance issues, and system alerts in real-time.

Ticket Management :

- Open, manage, and update support tickets in the ticketing system.

- Categorize and prioritize incidents and service requests according to predefined criteria.

- Ensure all tickets are documented accurately with detailed information about the issue.

Basic Bug Fixing :


- Perform basic troubleshooting and bug fixing for known issues as per the guidelines provided.


- Apply minor code changes, configuration updates, or data corrections to resolve simple issues.

- Ensure any changes made are documented and follow the change management process.

Issue Escalation :


- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L2 support or relevant teams as per the escalation procedures.

- Follow up on escalated tickets to ensure timely resolution and keep stakeholders informed about the progress.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) :

- Adhere to established SOPs for incident management, problem resolution, and service requests.

- Execute routine tasks and maintenance activities as outlined in the SOPs.

- Document any deviations or updates needed in the SOPs and communicate them to the relevant authorities.

Communication and Coordination :

- Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders to gather information about issues and provide updates.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as required to facilitate issue resolution.

Reporting :

- Generate regular reports on ticket status, system performance, and monitoring activities.

- Provide insights and data to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Training and Knowledge Sharing :

- Participate in training sessions to stay updated with system changes, new tools, and best practices.

- Share knowledge and support new team members in understanding the monitoring and support processes.

Technical Skills :

- Basic understanding of Java applications and related technologies.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and bug fixing in Java applications.

- Understanding of database systems (e., Oracle) and application servers (e., JBOSS, Weblogic) is advantageous.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices is a plus.

Qualifications :

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Experience in managing a team of L1 support is (Mandatory), preferably at least 3 years in managing a team.

- Prior experience in a technical support or helpdesk role is preferred.

- Basic programming knowledge in Java.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to follow procedures and work systematically.

- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.

Exp : 5 - 10 years
