It is created to provide a platform for users to Collaborate, make friends and share information in order to make the best shopping decisions and for the merchants DesiDime covers many of the individual business models used by Merchants today — Deals, Coupons, and the well-known Forums — all translating into a powerhouse for Pay-for-Performance Marketing.
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic individual to lead the growth and engagement of the Desidime community. This role will be instrumental in building, nurturing, and expanding an active and loyal user base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community management, content strategy, and user engagement, combined with a data-driven approach to growing online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
•Community Growth & Engagement:
•Develop and execute strategies to drive community growth, increase participation, and foster engagement across Desidime's platform.
•Create and manage programs, events, and campaigns that stimulate active discussions and user contributions.
•Identify and implement features or initiatives that improve the community experience and drive retention.
•Content Strategy & Management:
•Collaborate with content teams to ensure a steady flow of relevant and engaging content that encourages community interaction.
•Curate and promote user-generated content, discussions, and deals that align with Desidime's core offerings.
•Maintain a balance between structured campaigns (e.g., contests) and organic user participation.
•User Engagement & Retention:
•Build and maintain strong relationships with community members to encourage long-term participation and loyalty.
•Implement retention strategies that keep users returning to the platform, such as personalized interactions, rewards programs, or exclusive community perks.
•Data-Driven Growth (Community Analytics):
•Monitor and analyze community metrics to track growth and engagement, using data to refine and improve strategies.
•Utilize user feedback, engagement metrics, and behavioral trends to inform decisions and optimize community efforts.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to align community initiatives with overall business objectives.
•Ensure community feedback is shared with the product and support teams to help improve platform features and user experience.
Key Qualifications:
•Experience: 5+ years of experience in community management, growth marketing, or user engagement roles, with a strong focus on building and scaling online communities.
•Content & Engagement: Proven ability to manage content strategies that drive user engagement and participation in a digital platform or community environment.
•Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to use analytics tools to track key performance metrics (e.g., user growth, engagement levels) and adjust strategies accordingly.
•User-Centric Approach: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with community members.
•Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement growth strategies and improve the community experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Bonus Points):
•Partnership Development: Experience in building partnerships with external influencers, brands, or affiliate marketers to drive additional value to the community.
•SEO & Digital Marketing: Understanding of SEO or digital marketing strategies that could help increase community visibility and reach.
•Affiliate Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with affiliate marketing models, especially if related to e-commerce or deal-sharing platforms.
•Event Management: Experience organizing online or offline events such as contests, webinars, or community meetups to drive engagement.
