About the Role :

As the Senior Email Security Lead at NCG, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization against evolving email threats. Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct thorough investigations into email threats, leveraging advanced tools and techniques to identify and mitigate risks.

- Design and implement detection rules to enhance our email security systems, ensuring timely identification of potential threats.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.

- Collaborate with SOC teams to address advanced persistent threats, ensuring a unified response to security incidents.

- Analyze threat intelligence data to inform security strategies and improve our email security posture.

- Ensure that email security practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, contributing to the overall governance framework.

You Might Be Our Ideal Match If You :

- Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Have 3-6 years of experience in email security, cybersecurity, or a related domain.

- Are proficient in email security platforms, particularly Proofpoint or similar technologies.

- Possess a strong understanding of threat intelligence, email forensics, and incident response methodologies.

- Have experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and analysis.

- Are familiar with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) as they pertain to email security.

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Education :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
