About the Role

Play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization against email-based threats. Directly contribute to the overall security posture of the company. Actively monitor and analyze email security alerts to protect employees and clients. Collaborate closely with IT, compliance, and risk management departments.   • Continuously monitorProofpointemail security alerts, investigate phishing attempts, and analyze email threats to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Managequarantine policiesandincident documentation, ensuring timely response and resolution of email security incidents.
  • Stay updated on the latestemail security trends and threats, leveraging this knowledge to enhance existing security protocols and practices.
  • Workcross-functionally with IT and compliance teamsto implement security measures and ensure adherence to best practices in email security.
  • Lead initiatives tooptimize email security configurations and policies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training sessionsfor employees on email security best practices, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.

  • Hold aBachelors degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Have23 years of experiencein email security, cybersecurity, or a related domain.
  • Are proficient inemail security tools, particularlyProofpoint TAP/TRAP.
  • Possess excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Have stronganalytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstratecollaboration skills, with experience in managing stakeholder relationships and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Can workindependently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities and a proactive approach to security challenges.

Education
