Job Description:
As a Node.js and Python Developer, you will be an integral part of our development team, responsible for building high-performance, scalable web applications and back-end systems. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to bring innovative products to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Node.js and Python.
- Implement APIs and integrate with front-end components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure high performance and availability of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor and optimise application performance and security.
- Mentor junior developers and provide code reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of proven experience in software development using Node.js and Python.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
- Proficient in Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django) and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
- Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
