We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering - Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tech consulting or solution delivery, coupled with deep expertise in cloud-based data platforms. This role is crucial for leading end-to-end data engineering projects, architecting robust solutions, and mentoring technical teams in a hybrid work environment.

What Youll Do :


- Lead end-to-end project delivery for data engineering solutions, spanning from initial design and architecture to successful deployment.

- Architect scalable and efficient data solutions leveraging major cloud platforms such as AWS (e.g., EMR, Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda) or Azure (e.g., Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Blob Storage).

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level data engineering teams, fostering their growth and ensuring best practices are followed.

- Interface directly with senior stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business insights and managing expectations effectively.

- Work collaboratively within Agile development environments, participating actively in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

What You Bring :


- 5+ years of proven experience in technology consulting or solution delivery roles, specifically within the data domain.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala for data processing and pipeline development.

- Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure, focusing on their data engineering services.

- Demonstrated hands-on experience in data engineering, including building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

- Solid understanding and practical experience with distributed systems concepts and technologies.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical discussions, stakeholder interactions, and team leadership.

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and drive technical teams towards project success.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
