Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Payroll professional to oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll operations of our organization.

The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain confidentiality and integrity of payroll data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the payroll team to ensure smooth and efficient payroll processing for all employees on a timely basis.

- Manage the full payroll cycle including salary calculations, deductions, bonuses, reimbursements, and benefits.

- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements related to payroll.

- Coordinate with HR and finance departments to verify employee attendance, leaves, incentives, and other payroll-related inputs.

- Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies or issues raised by employees.

- Prepare and submit statutory reports and returns such as PF, ESI, TDS, and other government filings within stipulated deadlines.

- Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to internal controls.

- Continuously review and improve payroll processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information and data.

- Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and best Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

- Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.

- Familiarity with statutory compliance related to payroll, taxes, and labor laws.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
