Location: Coimbatore, IndiaExperience Level: 0 – 3 YearsEducation Requirement: Schooling & College – 80% and aboveAbout the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-driven Automation Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in Coimbatore. This role is ideal for freshers and early-career professionals who are passionate about improving software quality through automation, ensuring seamless performance and reliability across applications.You will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to design, build, and maintain automated test scripts that support continuous integration and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver or equivalent.Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web and software applications.Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolutions.Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks.Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test strategy discussions.Ensure thorough documentation of test cases, results, and reports.Support continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Academic performance: Minimum 80% in both school and college.Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC.Hands-on knowledge of Selenium, Java/Python, or equivalent automation tools/languages.Familiarity with testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Postman, API testing, or RESTful services.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, version control tools like Git, and tools like Jenkins.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
