We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with expertise in JavaEE, Angular, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices to join our German based client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and contributing to the optimization of our development processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage software solutions that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Structures & Processes: Design, implement, and maintain efficient support frameworks to ensure seamless operations and service excellence.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Set up, configure, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions. Ensure software health and performance with monitoring tools.
  • Containerization: Utilize Docker for containerization and Docker-Compose for managing multi-container applications, optimizing deployment workflows.
  • JavaEE & REST APIs: Develop, deploy, and maintain robust Java Enterprise Edition (JavaEE) applications, with a focus on building and managing RESTful APIs.
  • Front-End Development: Build dynamic and responsive front-end applications using Angular/AngularJS and TypeScript, with experience in HTML, JSON, RxJS, D3.js, and ag-Grid.
  • Database Management: Write complex SQL queries, optimize Oracle Database performance, and manage database schemas to support application requirements.
  • Microservices: Design and develop microservices architectures, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement unit tests with JUnit and similar frameworks, ensuring the reliability and robustness of applications.
  • Messaging & Event-Driven Systems: Leverage messaging platforms like Kafka to enable event-driven architectures and ensure effective communication between services.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement containerization using Docker, Kubernetes for orchestration, and maintain a healthy production environment with monitoring tools.
  • Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Participate in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of software projects.
  • Documentation & Requirement Gathering: Support the documentation of technical specifications and actively participate in requirement gathering and analysis.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Methodological Competence: Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain support structures and processes, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub Actions): Expertise in setting up and maintaining GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Linux System Knowledge: Strong understanding of Linux OS, including system administration, shell scripting, and troubleshooting.
  • Docker & Docker-Compose: Proficiency in containerizing applications with Docker and managing multi-container environments using Docker-Compose.
  • JavaEE & REST APIs: Extensive experience with JavaEE, particularly in building and maintaining REST APIs.
  • Angular/AngularJS with TypeScript: In-depth knowledge of Angular and AngularJS, using TypeScript for developing modern web applications.
  • SQL (Oracle DB): Strong proficiency in SQL, specifically with Oracle Database, including performance optimization and complex queries.

Should-Have Skills:

  • Open Liberty: Experience in deploying and managing Java EE applications on Open Liberty.
  • JUnit: Experience in writing and maintaining unit tests using JUnit.
  • Node.js: Proficiency in Node.js for building server-side applications and RESTful services.
  • Microservices Architecture: Experience with microservice-based development and deployment.
  • Messaging Systems (Kafka/Event Driven): Practical knowledge of implementing messaging systems like Kafka.
  • Design Patterns: Strong understanding of design patterns and their application in development.
  • Development Methodologies: Solid experience in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development environments.
  • Kubernetes: Hands-on experience in writing YAML files, troubleshooting, and deploying applications on Kubernetes.
  • DevOps Knowledge: Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for effective software delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
