Position Title : Database Administrator Role II Postgres.

Department : PT-X DevOps.

Essential Job Functions :

- Positive and all in attitude.

- Understands, follows, and contributes to the refinement of team processes.

- Proactively identify and resolve system availability, performance concerns as well as ensure system security.

- Create and maintain encryption and replication strategies between various database environments.

Required Skills :

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with performance tuning utilizing indexes, disk and query optimizations, and other methods.

- Experience with database replication and failover mechanisms.

- Experience with encryption methodologies for databases.

- Experience with database clustering techniques.

- Experience with at least two of the following database technologies (Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL).

- Experience with automation and configuration management And Experience :

- Seven or more years of direct experience working as a Database Administrator.

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant experience.
