What would a typical day at your work be like?

The Person will work as a Senior Data Engineer in Data Engineering team of Decision Point, Translating business and functional user requirements into functioning solutions.


The incumbent for the position is expected to deliver but not limited to on following responsibilities :

- Set up processes for data management, templatized analytical modules/deliverables.

- Continuously improve processes with focus on automation and partner with different teams to develop system capability.

- Proactively seek opportunities to help team members by sharing knowledge and expanding skills.

- Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

What Do We Expect?

- Excellent analytical skills and is a problem solver.

- Self-motivated, disciplined with 'can do' attitudeShould have good knowledge of Tableau / Power BI / SSRS.

- Good experience in computer programming languages such as: Python, Advance SQL and experience working with Python (related to data analysis) & relational databases, as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.


- Should have working knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence.

- Knowledge of Big data tools (Athena, Hive, Spark), ETL tools and cloud platforms will be added advantage.


- Certification in cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, Google will be considered a very good asset.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ability with experience of supporting and working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively, articulate results and issues to internal and client team.
