TheFinance Controllerwill oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls for ZingHR’s operations. The ideal candidate should have a solid grounding in accounting principles, a strong understanding of SaaS-based financial models, and hands-on experience managing statutory audits, internal financial controls, and revenue recognition.Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance. Manage all accounting functions includingaccounts payable/receivable, general ledger, billing, and revenue recognitionfor SaaS subscriptions. Drivebudgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting to support business goals. Overseecash flow management, working capital monitoring, and fund utilization. Audit, Compliance & Controls: Ensure full compliance withstatutory and regulatory requirements(GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.). Manageinternal and statutory audits, ensuring timely completion and adherence toIFC (Internal Financial Controls). Establish and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures. Strategic & Operational Support: Partner with leadership to provide actionable financial insights and analysis for decision-making. Supportcost optimization, financial automation, and process improvement initiatives. Coordinate with external partners—auditors, consultants, and banks—to ensure efficient financial operations. Assist in financial due diligence and reporting for investors or board presentations, as required. Team & Collaboration: Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team to ensure accuracy and accountability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, Sales, Procurement) for financial planning and control.Required Skills & Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA)qualification is mandatory. 6–10 years of progressive experience infinance, accounting, or controllership, ideally within aSaaS / technology / IT servicesenvironment. Strong understanding ofSaaS revenue models, includingdeferred revenue, accruals, and subscription accounting. Hands-on experience withstatutory audits, tax compliance, and internal financial controls. Proficiency inERP/Finance systemssuch as SAP, NetSuite, or Tally. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Good to Have: Exposure tomulti-entity or global operations. Experience infinancial planning & analysis (FP&A)and automation tools. Knowledge offunding, investor reporting, or SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, churn, etc.).
