Graviton is a privately funded quantitative trading firm dedicated to excellence in financial markets research.

We are seeking an AI Researcher for our team in Gurgaon. This team will leverage advanced AI and machine learning techniques across a multitude of asset classes and trading venues. Our methodologies include deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing and anomaly detection.

We analyze petabytes of data to develop innovative models and algorithms aimed at identifying and capitalizing on pricing anomalies in financial markets.

We are focused on pioneering the future of algorithmic trading, with a strategic focus on developing robust, scalable algorithms that extract useful predictions of future market activity from massive datasets.

Roles and responsibilities :

- Conduct state-of-the-art research in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence, developing new algorithms, models, and techniques.

- Design and implement advanced machine learning and deep learning models for various applications.

- Apply advanced machine learning and AI techniques in areas such as deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), time series analysis, reinforcement learning, control systems, and optimization.

- Develop rich models for specific tasks of NLP by collecting, curating, coordinating annotations of NL texts, training and adapting machine learning models

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and Quant teams, to integrate AI models and solutions into production environments.

- Present research findings internally and at external conferences, workshops, and journals.

- Document methodologies and results to foster knowledge exchange.

- Translate research results into scalable, robust machine learning models and algorithms that can be implemented in real-world applications.

- Stay updated on the latest AI and machine learning research trends, methodologies, and industry practices.

Requirements :

- Bachelor or Ph.D from IITs in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

- Proven track record in advanced AI/ML research and development.

- Experience in implementing deep learning models and algorithms, particularly in areas such as NLP, time series forecasting, and reinforcement learning.

- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with modern deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), architectures (CNNs, RNNs, transformers, etc.), and methodologies.

- Strong understanding of a wide array of machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, optimization, statistical methods, and Bayesian learning.

- Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.

- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, Keras, XGBoost, etc.

- Solid foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra, probability, statistics, calculus, and optimization.

- While prior experience in financial markets is not required, a strong interest in learning and applying machine learning techniques in a finance or quantitative context is essential.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex research findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
