Greetings from TCSTCS is hiring for Informatica Power Centre DeveloperJob Location: HyderabadDesired Experience Range: 4 to 10 YearsAs a Sr. Informatica Developer, the ideal candidate will become part of a team responsible for the complete lifecycle and the management of ETL processes and database systems. Collaborating with business, development and testing teams, this role will facilitate accurate data reporting within company standards and maintain 24/7 system availability, investigate and analyze issues, as well as research opportunities for improvement of processes. They will provide expert system and technical advice and guidance to the junior developers on the team.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeads the tuning of ETL processesLeads the tuning of databasesResponsible for timely project deliveriesLeads in writing and reviewing software functional specifications and design reviewsProvides guidance to more junior staffProvides input to continuously improve ETL process discipline and resulting output qualityParticipates in writing and reviewing software functional specifications and design reviewsCollaborates with development teams, business units to identify, define, develop and implement new data source feedsMonitors usage of the Data Warehouse to identify potential capacity overloads and bottlenecksAssists with tuning of ETL processes and database performanceDesign and develop any/all necessary ETL processesResponsible for loading and validating data into the data warehouseProvides support for technical issues and ensuring system availabilityRemains current on Data Warehousing technologies, testing industry trends and best practicesOwnership of projects and responsible for deliverablesRequired skills and abilitiesAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsSelf-starter with "can-do" attitude, a must in a fast-paced business and technical environmentProfessional oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate regularly and effectively with other team members.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, conducive to team development, work under own initiative.Ability to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks.Project management experiences a plus.Ability to work well independently and in a team environmentEducation and/or Experience:6 years of experience in software development utilizing Informatica in combination with Oracle databases in a distribution system environment is preferred.Complete understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle.Expert Knowledge of application design principles, systems development and analysis.Expert UNIX/LINUX and Oracle 12c experienceComplete understanding of relational database design and architectureInformaticaAdvanced Informatica design and development skills using Informatica power center. (10.1+ preferred)Experience in developing Informatica PowerCenter ETL mappings using Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, and Repository ManagerExperience using parameter files, parameters/variables and troubleshooting using advanced informatica techniques like session partitioning, push down optimization etc.Unix (Sun Solaris or Linux)3+ years of experience writing shell scripts.Expertise in running jobs using various schedulers.Must be well versed with all Unix commands needed for running ETL jobs as well as for troubleshooting source and target files.Must Have4+ years of experience in software development utilizing Informatica3+ years of Oracle database experience3+ years of experience writing shell scripts.Thank youBodhisatwa Ray
