Responsibilities :- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.- Develop secure and scalable REST APIs for fintech web and mobile apps.- Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to integrate backend systems.- Work on data processing pipelines using PySpark for large-scale financial data analysis (good to have).- Support Python-based backend or scripting tasks as needed.- Experiment with or integrate generative AI models to enhance product features (chatbots, document processing, fraud detection, etc. ) is a big plus.- Ensure data security, encryption, and compliance with financial regulations.- Optimise databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and implement reliable data models.- Write tests, perform code reviews, and improve CI/CD pipelines.Requirements :- 2-3 years of backend development experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot.- Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation.- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and performance tuning.- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP).- Understanding of security best practices in fintech (OAuth2 JWT, data encryption).- Good communication and ability to work independently in a startup environment.
