We're building a scalable, tech-first backbone for digital commerce and are expanding our engineering team to strengthen our core infrastructure.Role Overview:We're looking for a Backend Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain complex functional flows for our core products. You will work closely with frontend engineers, and DevOps to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient backend systems.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FlaskDesign efficient database schemas and write optimized queries in PostgreSQLCollaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to integrate and deploy new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeOptimize application performance and troubleshoot production issuesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practicesRequirements:Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing backend systems for complex product workflowsStrong expertise in Python, Flask, and PostgreSQLSolid understanding of software engineering fundamentalsGood debugging, testing, and documentation skillsClear communication and a collaborative mindsetWhat We Offer:Opportunity to work on meaningful, large-scale systemsLean, fast-paced tech teamCompetitive compensationHybrid/remote flexibility
