Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Umbraco Developer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our team on a remote contractual basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET, C#, MVC, and Umbraco CMS, with a proven track record of developing, customizing, and maintaining content-driven web applications.

This role requires a self-driven professional who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality digital products on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain websites and applications using Umbraco CMS.

- Implement custom features, modules, and templates within Umbraco.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services into Umbraco-based solutions.

- Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and security.

- Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and business analysts to deliver user-friendly solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing Umbraco projects.

- Ensure proper documentation of code, processes, and solutions.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in Umbraco and .NET development.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in web development with strong focus on Umbraco CMS.

- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC frameworks.

- Expertise in Umbraco (v8/v9/v10 or higher) development, customization, and configuration.

- Solid understanding of Razor, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Experience with SQL Server and database-driven applications.

- Knowledge of API integration, RESTful services, and cloud hosting environments (Azure preferred).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Headless CMS implementation in Umbraco.

- Knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end integrations.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and automated deployment.

- Experience working with multi-lingual and multi-site setups in Umbraco.
