The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuningJob Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Healthcare Quality Measure and Reporting software. • Analyze and tune performance of stored procedures. • Analyze business requirements and specifications to determine an optimal development strategy and timeline. • Participate in Industry Certification activities, particularly annual NCQA HEDIS certification. • Provide Quality Measures assistance to Customer Support and Project Management. • Provide development assistance to DevOps and QA in cases of job failures or errors. • Deploy Healthcare Quality Measure Software. • Attend Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/Sprint planning/Backlog refinement) on assigned project.Experience & Skills Required: 3–6 yearsof experience indata engineeringordata warehouse development , with at least2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake . Strong expertise inSQLandSnowflake-specific features(e.g., Virtual Warehouses, Time Travel, Streams, Tasks). Expert-levelSQL programmingwith a focus oncomplex query writingandstored procedure development . Proven experience inquery and performance optimizationwithin Snowflake or similar MPP databases. Solid understanding ofdata modeling techniques— Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and dimensional modeling. Experience working withcloud ecosystems(AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating with Snowflake. Proficiency inPythonorSQL scriptingfor automation and data transformation is preferred. Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Preferred: Working experience with HL7 and healthcare interfaces Working experience with healthcare claims a plus. Exposure to C# / .NET a plus. Healthcare Industry knowledge
