Job Title: Academic Mentor – CA (Chartered Accountancy)Location: KozhikodeEmployment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: AcademicsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Academic Mentor (CA) to guide and support students pursuing the Chartered Accountancy program. The ideal candidate will possess deep subject expertise, strong mentoring skills, and a passion for student success. This role involves academic monitoring, counseling, and collaboration with faculty to ensure a seamless learning experience.Key Responsibilities- Mentor and monitor students enrolled in the CA program to ensure consistent academic progress. - Conduct regular follow-ups through calls or meetings to review student performance and engagement. - Provide guidance on study planning, exam preparation, time management, and learning strategies. - Motivate students to stay consistent and maintain required attendance in academic and engagement activities. - Assist in developing academic materials including PPTs, question papers, and reference notes. - Collaborate with faculties to collect study materials and coordinate with design teams for formatting and publishing. - Support faculty in academic planning, assessments, and implementation of programs. - Conduct counseling sessions (individual or group) to address academic or personal challenges. - Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and feedback documentation. - Collaborate with content and curriculum teams to ensure accuracy in academic materials. - Research continuously to identify and resolve academic or pedagogical challenges.Requirements- Qualification: Qualified or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter or Final) or equivalent. - Strong conceptual understanding of CA subjects and syllabus. - Prior experience in academic mentoring, teaching, or student support preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to multi-task and adapt to dynamic academic needs.Preferred Skills- Experience in academic content creation or coordination. - Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with online learning platforms. - Strong attention to detail, time management, and student-centric approach.
