Job Overview:

The Corporate Communications Sr. Manager/ Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing the company's internal and external communication strategies. This role ensures that the company’s message is consistent, engaging, and aligned with its brand identity across all communication channels. The individual will handle public relations, internal communications, media relations, crisis communications, and content creation to enhance the company’s public image.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Communications: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and services to internal and external audiences.
  • Media Relations: Manage media inquiries, cultivate relationships with journalists and media outlets, draft press releases, and coordinate interviews to ensure positive media coverage.
  • Content Creation: Create and manage content for press releases, speeches, newsletters, internal memos, and social media to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans, manage real-time crisis situations, and prepare timely responses to minimize damage to the company's reputation.
  • Internal Communications: Support employee engagement by crafting and disseminating internal announcements, newsletters, and organizing town halls.
  • Public Relations: Monitor the public and media's perception of the company, respond to negative publicity, and implement strategies to enhance the company's image.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute company events, press conferences, and other corporate functions.
  • Brand Messaging: Ensure that all communications align with the company’s branding guidelines and corporate identity.
  • Executive Support: Provide communication support to senior leadership for speeches, presentations, and public appearances.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Track, measure, and report the effectiveness of communication strategies, adjusting tactics to optimize results.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • [7-10] years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience managing media relations and crisis communications.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and communication tools.
  • Experience in event planning and execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Pharma/ Vaccine Industry.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and graphic design software.
  • Leadership or team management experience.
