About the Role

The role of Executive corporate communication should be a creative, enthusiastic storyteller who can work across teams and with various executives to mine for compelling stories and content ideas. This individual may have experience working in a newsroom or internal communication department and should have the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, with a track record of generating results.


Responsibilities

  • Draft and distribute press releases, Media Advisories and other corporate communication material, and manage department resources.
  • Manage daily media queries and respond to the media request for information, mange media information and maintain media database.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to gather information and ensure accuracy in communications.
  • Manage the media fleet and arrange for media transportation and logistics.
  • Support the posting of content on social media handles.


Experience & Qualifications

5-10 years of experience writing in a corporate environment

Graduate in journalism, communications, public relations or marketing is an advantage

PG in mass communication


Technical skills & knowledge

Strong writing & editing skills

Media relations

Knowledge of social media and digital communications

Should have managed a variety of corporate communications channels, including corporate intranets, mobile and internal social media channels.
