Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedSAP SDMM Functional Consultantto join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and ongoing support of theSAP Sales and Distribution (SD)andMaterials Management (MM)modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into functional specifications, configure the SAP system, and ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of the SAP SDMM solution.Key Responsibilities:SAP SD & MM Module Implementation & Configuration:Perform full-cycleSAP SD and MM module implementationincludingrequirement gathering , blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and Go-live support.ConfigureSAP SDfunctionalities, including order management, pricing, billing, sales support, and shipping.ConfigureSAP MMfunctionalities, including purchasing, inventory management, material master, and vendor management.IntegrateSD and MMmodules with other SAP modules (FI/CO, WM, PP) to ensure smooth data flow across different business processes.Business Process Analysis & Requirements Gathering:Work with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and document business requirements for SAP SD and MM processes.Identify gaps between the business requirements and SAP functionalities, and propose effective solutions to close those gaps.Provide recommendations for process improvements based on best practices within the SAP SDMM landscape.System Configuration & Customization:Implement and customize theSAP SDmodule to support sales order processing, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.Configure theSAP MMmodule to meet the requirements for procurement, inventory management, and materials valuation.Manage thecross-module configurationbetween SD and MM to ensure proper integration and data consistency.Testing & Validation:Lead thetesting effortsfor SAP SD and MM configurations, including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing.Identify and resolvedefects or issuesencountered during testing and support the user acceptance process.User Training & Documentation:Create and maintaintraining materialsfor end-users, ensuring that users are well-trained on new SAP SDMM processes.Providetraining sessionsfor end-users to ensure smooth adoption and proper use of SAP SD and MM functionalities.Developdetailed documentationfor configurations, customizations, and processes to support ongoing maintenance and upgrades.Support and Maintenance:Providepost-implementation supportand resolve issues in the SAP SD and MM modules as they arise.Offercontinuous improvementsto the SAP SD and MM functionalities based on feedback and changing business needs.Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP SDMM processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with other SAP consultants (e.g., FI/CO, WM, PP) to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems.Work closely with business users to ensure that theSAP SDMM solutionaligns with their day-to-day business requirements and objectives.Act as a liaison betweentechnical teamsand business teams, ensuring that both sides are aligned on project goals and deliverables.Project Management:Assist inproject planning , including estimating time and resources required for SAP SDMM-related tasks.Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met according to the project plan.Documentproject progressand assist with preparing status reports for stakeholders.Key Requirements:Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's degree inComputer Science ,Engineering ,Business Administration , or a related field.SAP certification inSAP SDand/orSAP MMis a plus.Work Experience:Minimum of2-5 yearsof experience as anSAP SDMM Functional Consultantor in a similar SAP functional role.Proven experience withend-to-end SAP SDMM implementations , upgrades, or rollouts.Solid understanding ofSAP SDMM integrationwith other modules (FI/CO, WM, PP, etc.).Technical Skills:Strong knowledge ofSAP SD (Sales and Distribution)andSAP MM (Materials Management)modules, including configuration and functional processes.Experience withSAP ECCand/orS/4HANAversions.Knowledge ofABAPdebugging for troubleshooting and working with technical teams (not mandatory but advantageous).Proficiency withSAP FioriandSAP S/4HANAUI experience is a plus.Business Skills:Stronganalytical and problem-solvingskills to identify and resolve issues.Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills to collaborate effectively with business users, project managers, and technical teams.Ability totranslate business requirementsinto SAP solutions.Understanding of business processes in thesales, distribution, procurement, and inventory managementareas.Additional Skills:Experience withSAP IDOCprocessing,ALE/EDIinterfaces, orthird-party integrationis a plus.Familiarity withSD/MM reportingandcustom reportingin SAP (e.g., using SAP Query, SAP BW, or SAP BI).Ability to manage multiple priorities and work on several projects simultaneously.Knowledge ofAgile methodologyfor project management is advantageous.
