Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end purchase order (PO) processing, from requisition to order placement and delivery follow-up.- Evaluate and source reliable suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including vendor details, quotations, POs, and delivery notes.- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are clearly understood and fulfilled on time.- Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with quality standards, and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or non-complianceQualifications & Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.- 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain coordination.- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho).- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment (ref:iimjobs.com)
