About Us : The Souled Store is one India’s fastest growing youth focused lifestyle brand. We started in 2013 as a homegrown Indian brand and today we are one of the largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we are also in the process of expanding to new categories and we are expanding across action figure backpacks and collectibles and are scaling in footwear and kidswear. Although we are primarily an online brand, we’ve expanded in the offline retail space as we and have 40 stores across India with plans for expansion pan India. The Souled Store was born out of the idea of loving what you do, from the soul. We believe that people do their best work when they love what they do. If you identify with what we do and are interested in being a part of an aggressively growing brand, we would love to have you on board Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end design process for seasonal and capsule collections Lead concept creation, material selection, tech-pack development, and sample finalization Collaborate with the Product, Merchandising, and Development teams to bring designs to market Stay ahead of global design trends, materials, technologies, and sneaker culture Present and articulate design concepts clearly to internal stakeholders Guide junior designers and provide design mentorship Create storytelling-driven, brand-aligned designs that resonate with our target audience Key Requirements 5+ years of proven experience in footwear design, with a strong sneaker portfolio Strong knowledge of footwear construction, materials, outsole design, and trend forecasting Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop Ability to design with both commercial viability and creative edge Deep understanding of Gen-Z, streetwear, or pop culture aesthetics Experience in working with factories and understanding of sampling/manufacturing processes Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills PS: Our hiring team will review your application and should we find your background to be a fit for this role, we will be in touch.
