Deputy COO

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Chief Operating Officer (Deputy COO) to drive

operational excellence, strategic growth, and team effectiveness within our organization. The Deputy COO will work closely with the COO to oversee daily operations, implement efficient systems, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. This leadership role demands exceptional operational management skills, an innovative mindset, and a proven ability to foster a high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Partner with the COO and executive leadership to define and implement operational strategies to

achieve business objectives.

• Contribute to long-term planning, forecasting, and risk management for global operations.

P&L Management:

• Manage a large P&L, ensuring financial health, profitability, and sustainability of operations.

• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with business goals.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of analytics and research projects to global clients, ensuring high quality

and timely execution.

• Optimize operational processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and

scalability.

Client Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with global clients, understanding their needs and ensuring

satisfaction.

• Act as a key escalation point for client concerns and ensure resolution in a timely and effective

manner.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse, cross-functional team of professionals across multiple

geographies.

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team.

Performance Management:

• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational efficiency

and client satisfaction.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA or

equivalent is preferred).

• 17+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership

role in a service-based organization.

• Proven track record of managing large teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

• Deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and technologies.
