Purpose of the Job

  • Plan, organize and execute sales/ business development and financial objectives for the given territory of India Sub-Continent for sBU’s – Performance Additives.
  • Foster and build business relationships with potential & existing customers, distributors, and all appropriate business channels. Enhancing customer experience.
  • OWC, Margin Management and Demand planning.
  • Coordinate internal interface between Customer Service, Technical Service and the Sales and Marketing Team.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with asphalt road construction related key stake holders in government and non-government organizations for the promotion of Nouryon innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Ensures that all Sales & Marketing activities are in strict compliance with Nouryon ’s Business and Anti-Competition Principles.
  • Competitive Market Intelligence and watch Market development.


About the job (Job Responsibilities)

  • Follow the five stages of Nouryon sales process: Opportunity Identification, Validate Opportunity, Proposal Development, Sales Negotiations & Approval and Product Delivery and After Sales Support.
  • Work closely with Technical Service team & give Product improvement / development feedback to them. Marketing and product promotion.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for business growth and accountable for the commitment of financial numbers annually.
  • Should be able to work with different verticals in the allied industry having prioritized focus on specialty chemicals for Asphalt Road and construction materials.
  • Ability & adaptability to work with customers of different size & scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, draw conclusions, and create solutions to customers’ issues.
  • Adaptive to business tools of CRM, forecasting, management of opportunities and sales data for records and data driven decisions.
  • Liaise with Sales Support / Customer Support / Technical Service and address needs of Customers following Nouryon values: we aim high (drive growth by collaboration with customers), we own it (accountable and deliver on commitments) and we do it right (support our people, customers and communities through strong ethics, and with safety, integrity and sustainability in mind).
  • Extending prices and negotiate provided by higher manager/ supervisor / marketing.
  • Distribution of samples, sales and marketing materials provided by the organization.
  • Development and maintaining the business relationship with the new/existing customers and distributors.
  • Customer visit plans and execution of standard Nouryon sales process.


We believe you bring (Education & Experience)

  • Minimum B. Tech. in Chemical/Polymer Technology/ Engineering or M.Sc. Organic Chemistry.
  • Sales and Marketing Management post-graduation education is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of sales/ marketing/ business development /technical sales in specialty chemicals preferably in asphalt applications (road construction).
  • Open to travelling within the geography.
