The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake’s advanced features and a strong background in cloud-based data engineering, with bonus experience in AWS, Python, and PySpark.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement robust data architectures on Snowflake. - Develop and maintain complex data pipelines, transformations, and stored procedures using Snowflake SQL. - Utilize advanced Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, and Time Travel for real-time and historical data processing. - Integrate data from internal and external sources using ETL/ELT processes. - Analyse and optimize query performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies. - Ensure data security and compliance through role-based access control, encryption, and governance policies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.Required Skills:- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture. - 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake. - Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration strategies. - Familiarity with Snowflake features: Snowpipe, Streams, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning. - Solid understanding of data security, access control, and compliance standards.Bonus Skills:- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue, Step Functions). - Proficiency in Python and PySpark. - Exposure to DBT, Airflow, or other orchestration tools.
