We enable #HumanFirstDigital.About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect with strong expertise in Python to design and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions. The role involves leading the Snowflake platform strategy, optimizing data pipelines, ensuring security & compliance, and building automation frameworks with Python. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and BI teams to deliver modern cloud-based data architectures.Responsibilities:- Design and architect end-to-end Snowflake data warehouse solutions including data ingestion, modeling, performance optimization, and data governance. - Define data architecture best practices aligned with organizational and cloud strategy (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Informatica IICS, etc.). - Leverage Python for automation, API integrations, reusable frameworks, and advanced transformations. - Implement data security, access control, masking, and encryption in Snowflake. - Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, caching, and query tuning. - Collaborate with BI/Analytics teams to ensure seamless integration with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc. - Lead migration initiatives from on-prem databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, etc.) to Snowflake. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts. - Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and cloud-native services to enhance the data ecosystem.Qualifications:- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture: virtual warehouses, micro-partitioning, time-travel, zero-copy cloning, materialized views. - Proficient in Python for data engineering, automation, and API integrations. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and services like S3/Blob/GCS, Lambda/Functions, etc. - Solid understanding of data modeling (3NF, Star/Snowflake schemas), ELT patterns, and performance optimization. - Experience with SQL (advanced queries, stored procedures, UDFs, performance tuning). - Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Informatica IICS, Talend). - Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices for data pipelines. - Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Our benefits and rewards program has been thoughtfully designed to recognize your skills and contributions, elevate your learning/upskilling experience and provide care and support for you and your loved ones.
