About Cave Digital:

Cave Digital is seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Performance Marketing Specialist to spearhead our paid advertising efforts and significantly contribute to our lead generation and sales revenue objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual contributor who thrives on autonomy, takes initiative, and possesses a proven track record of delivering high-ROI digital marketing campaigns. You will have the support of a collaborative team but will be expected to leverage your expertise to "think for yourself" and drive impactful results.


Role Overview:

As our Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of a wide range of integrated digital marketing campaigns across various paid advertising platforms. Your primary focus will be on optimizing campaigns for maximum performance, achieving desired conversion rates, and delivering a strong return on ad spend (ROAS).


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Campaign Management: Develop and manage tactical campaign plans and calendars aligned with lead generation and sales revenue goals.
  • Paid Advertising Expertise: Set up, manage, and optimize online marketing campaigns and advertising across a comprehensive suite of platforms including:
  • SEM: Google Ads (Search, Display, Remarketing, Shopping, etc.), Bing Ads, Google Merchant Center
  • Social Media: Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads
  • Native Advertising: Taboola Ads, Outbrain Ads
  • Video Advertising: YouTube Ads
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize paid campaigns to achieve desired conversion rates, high return on ad spend (ROAS), and ultimate business objectives of lead generation or sales revenue.
  • Data-Driven Analysis & Tracking: Implement and leverage web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and pixel tracking (Facebook Pixel, etc.) to meticulously track campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and measure success.
  • Insightful Reporting: Track performance data from all campaigns to measure success, generate comprehensive reports, and incorporate learnings into future campaign strategies.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting parameters for improved performance.
  • Ad Copy & Content Creation: Develop and implement compelling and effective ad copy and collaborate on content creation that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Graphic Design: Utilize graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) to create visually appealing ad creatives.
  • Platform Proficiency: Maintain a strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster and Shopify.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across a wide range of platforms (Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Twitter Ads, Pinterest Ads, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Native Ads - Taboola, Outbrain).
  • Proven track record of achieving significant online sales and lead generation results with a demonstrable high return on ad spend (ROAS). Be prepared to showcase specific examples and data.
  • Deep expertise in web analytics (Google Analytics) and implementing tracking pixels (Facebook Pixel, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and the customer journey.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights. 1
  • Strong creative content writing and copywriting skills with a focus on driving conversions.
  • Good graphic designing skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Shopify.
  • Proven experience in either B2C and B2B environments.
  • Resilient and self-motivated individual who can thrive in an individual contributor role and take ownership of their responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
