Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Data Tester to validate data accuracy and integrity across data warehouses, data integrations, and the curated business-ready layer.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test the data warehouse and ensure accurate data integration across various data sources.

- Validate the Business-Ready dataset (BRD), ensuring data is curated correctly for business use.

- Develop and execute test cases to ensure data consistency and integrity in ETL/ELT processes.

- Test data models and verify that data flows seamlessly through the data warehouse to the analytical layer.

- Perform end-to-end testing for data integrations, ensuring compliance with business rules and transformation logic.

- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to define testing strategies and resolve defects.

- Conduct performance testing to ensure the scalability and efficiency of data pipelines.

- Automate data validation and regression tests using relevant tools and frameworks.

- Document and report test results, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in data warehouse testing, validating ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.

- Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks for data quality and integration.

- Knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data in GBQ or other cloud-based platforms.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying and resolving data issues.

- Excellent collaboration skills to work with data engineers, analysts, and business teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with Airflow for pipeline orchestration and Python for automating test cases.

- Experience with metadata management and data governance processes.

- Any other automation tools
