The Quality Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and consistency, playing a critical role in maintaining the brand’s reputation within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and Implement Quality Standards: Establish, maintain, and improve quality standards, procedures, and guidelines in line with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Quality Assurance Management: Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, audits, and testing of finished goods.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the quality control team, provide training, guidance, and support to ensure a high level of performance.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and collaborate with 3P production teams to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, government regulations, and internal policies, including food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Customer Feedback Management: Monitor customer complaints related to product quality, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control checks, audits, and corrective actions, and report on key quality metrics to senior management.
  • Training and Development: Develop training programs to educate staff on quality standards and procedures, promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Crisis Management: Manage quality-related crises such as product recalls, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve issues swiftly and minimize impact.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Control or Food Technology. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 22000 - FSMS, ISO 9001) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within the FMCG sector, preferably in food industry. Candidates not meeting this criteria, please don’t apply
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements relevant to FMCG.
  • Proven experience in managing quality teams and leading quality improvement projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
