About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Hibernate, and Multithreading.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Implement and optimize microservices-based architecture for high-availability systems.

- Work with Hibernate / JPA for efficient database interactions.

- Develop and optimize multi-threaded applications for better performance and scalability.

- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

- Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.

- Expertise in Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

- Solid experience with Hibernate / JPA and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).

- Strong understanding of Multithreading, Concurrency, and Performance Optimization.

- Familiarity with Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) is a plus.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is desirable.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Good to Have :

- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.

- Knowledge of GraphQL and API gateways.

- Exposure to security best practices in backend development.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
