Lead Automation Test Engineer

Description : Primary Skill : - End-to-end QA strategy across SDLC/STLC, owning test plans, traceability, execution, and closure in Agile/Scrum environments.- Architect and maintain a Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) automation framework : cross-browser runs, parallelization, retries, fixtures, and CI/CD integration (GitHub/GitLab/ADO).- Drive shift-left quality : requirement reviews, risk-based testing, smoke/regression suites, and solid defect triage/reporting with Jira/Xray dashboards.- Hands-on in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UAT, and compatibility testing for web & mobile; mentor and upskill QA engineers; enforce code reviews and standards.- Strong API testing (Playwright API/Postman), data validation with SQL (SQL Server/PostgreSQL), and test-data management; familiarity with Selenium is a plus.- Performance/security awareness : design JMeter-based load tests and basic security checks (auth flows, SQLi scenarios) suitable for regulated domains like healthcare.- Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders on sprint planning, release readiness, and high-quality test summary/reporting.- Nice-to-have domain/tooling : .NET/Angular/Dynamics 365, Azure, and HIPAA-sensitive workflows; experience transforming manual suites into maintainable automation.- Must-have : 10+ years in QA (incl. team/lead responsibilities), 3+ years building/owning Playwright automation, excellent communication, and stakeholder management.Responsibilities : - Design and implement automation frameworks : Create and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites for web and mobile applications.- Develop and execute scripts : Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.- Integrate with CI/CD : Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Perform various tests : Conduct performance, load, functional, and other types of tests as needed.- Maintain test environments : Ensure testing environments are stable and properly configured (ref:hirist.tech)
