Job Overview :


The BI Architect is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive business intelligence solutions to support the organization's data-driven decision-making process. This role involves understanding business requirements, analyzing data sources, and designing scalable and efficient BI systems.


The BI Solution Architect is responsible to oversee the technical architecture, data model, and performance of data solutions; influence change and enforce data best practices, standards, and governance; assess scope and define timelines, plans, and roadmap; analyse data architecture and integration solutions for improvement opportunities and challenges; and promote a development environment that is agile, fast-paced, and iterative.


Key Responsibilities :


- Use highest level of subject matter expertise to provide decisions on data architecture, data modelling, data sourcing, and data quality, Partner with Data Analyst, Data Engineering and Data scientist to help guide data stack modernization strategy.


- Analyzing of business requirements and problems to identify the appropriate business intelligence / data warehousing solution.


- Determining the architectural framework, technology requirements and overall design of solution.


- Responsible for the overall vision, architecture, oversight, and use of our enterprise Power BI ecosystem along with the related road maps and lifecycle management.


- Understand complex business requirements and translate into well-architected solutions that remarkably demonstrate the modern BI & Analytics platform.


- Validating the overall solution from the standpoint of performance, scalability, security, and capacity.


- Establishing the appropriate Implementation Methodology to successfully develop and deploy the solution.


- Lead the simplification of the BI landscape within a large organization.


- Experience with Divestiture of BI solutions and consolidate tools.


- Design and implement end to end business intelligence solutions that are scalable, performant, and secure.


- Experience with BI tools like Apache Superset, Tableau, Metric Insights, Alteryx, Cognos, Power BI.


- Good understanding on the Data Engineering aspects like Data Ingestion, Batch or Stream Data Pipelines and Architecture or Data Engineering tools.


- Develop and optimize data workflows for cost optimization and operational efficiency keeping business value add in mind.


- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into BI solutions.


- Manage scalable production infrastructure for data processing using AWS services and containerize as relevant.


- Ensure data integrity, governance, security, compliance, and quality across BI platforms.


- Be a technical Lead and Mentor a team of BI Developers, platform engineers and analysts.


- Guide cross-functional teams in data-driven solution delivery.


- Provide expertise and leadership on making technical decisions, mentoring junior team members, and focusing on delivering an architecture that provides business value.


- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with members of the business, technical and leadership teams.


- Oversee the technical architecture, data model, and performance of data solutions.
