Banquet Sales Executive

Position Overview:
The Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue by selling banquet and event services. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, planning and coordinating events, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to meet the restaurant’s high standards. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, customer-focused professional with strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve banquet sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate events, weddings, private parties, and other special occasions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate partners.
- Conduct site visits and presentations to prospective clients to showcase the restaurant's facilities and offerings.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals tailored to clients’ needs.
Event Coordination and Planning:
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences, ensuring customized event solutions.
- Liaise with the restaurant’s culinary, service, and operations teams to plan menus, layouts, and logistics.
- Coordinate event timelines, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Manage contracts, payments, and event-related documentation.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure consistent and professional communication with clients throughout the sales and event planning process.
- Provide post-event follow-up to gather feedback and maintain client relationships for repeat business.
- Resolve client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in banquet/event sales, preferably in a luxury or fine-dining environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
