Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Creative Lead to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of storytelling and screenplay writing in the animation medium, along with an experience to create compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. This role requires both creative vision and the ability to effectively communicate emotions, characters, and action through innovative writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and write engaging and emotionally resonant animation screenplays, ensuring strong character development and clear narrative arcs.
- Eg - Instead of saying '"a girl comes round the corner and bumps into a boy." This director/writer in animation should be able to write: "a girl rushes round the corner looking panicked, arms flailing, and collides with a boy. They both fall to the ground with a thud and the papers he is carrying fly into the air and flutter around them.
- Provide creative direction for animation projects, guiding the storytelling process and overseeing the visual interpretation of scripts.
- Collaborate with writers, story boarders and motion graphic editors, and other team members to bring stories to life and ensure alignment with the overall vision.
- Conceptualize, produce, and edit promotional content for animation projects, including trailers, teasers, and social media clips.
- Collaborate with writers, story boarders and animators to understand the vision and key messages of each project.
- Oversee the production process from pre-production through post-production, ensuring timelines and targets for cost of production are met.
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors, voice-over artists, and sound designers as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current animation trends and promotional strategies to ensure content is innovative and effective.
- Review and provide feedback on animation drafts to ensure alignment with promotional goals
- Analyze the performance of promotional content and suggest improvements for future projects.

Must-Have Qualificatio
- Proven experience in writing animation screenplays, with a portfolio showcasing innovative storytelling.
- In-depth knowledge of animation screenplay structure, formatting, and best practices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with creative teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Animation, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in video production, with a focus on animation or multimedia content.
- Strong understanding of storytelling and how to effectively communicate messages through visuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Having Team handling experience is a must.
Preferred Skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of sound design and music editing is a bonus.
