The organization partners with artisan manufacturers across India to build a sourcing ecosystem rooted in innovation, sustainability, and long-term collaboration.The RoleWe are seeking a Sourcing Director to establish and lead the sourcing function across furniture, rugs, lighting, décor, and soft furnishings. The role encompasses the complete sourcing lifecycle from identifying and onboarding suppliers into a low-MOQ, high-agility model to driving excellence in quality, compliance, and cost optimization through technology and data-driven practices.This opportunity is ideal for a sourcing leader with deep product understanding, commercial acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, design-led environment.Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic sourcing roadmap across all product categories.- Identify, evaluate, and onboard 15+ factories and artisan partners within the first 60 days.- Build and manage long-term vendor relationships with a focus on cost, quality, and innovation.- Partner with Design, Merchandising, and Category teams to optimize product development and pricing.- Introduce tech-enabled systems for replenishment, quality control, and vendor performance tracking.- Conduct regular vendor business reviews to assess compliance, performance, and sustainability metrics.- Lead process improvement initiatives using AI-driven sourcing tools and digital vendor platforms.What Were Looking For- 12+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in furniture, rugs, textiles, or décor.- Strong product knowledge with an understanding of raw materials and manufacturing processes.- Proven success in building and scaling vendor networks across India.- Strategic, analytical, and tech-forward mindset with exposure to AI, automation, or digital supply systems.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.Why Join- Opportunity to architect and lead the sourcing function for a global lifestyle brand.- Direct exposure to leadership, design, and innovation teams.- Chance to influence sustainable, technology-led sourcing practices in India.
