Manager - Corporate Affairs

Job Objective
- To device Government Defence Business Development and Corporate Affairs efforts.
- This role involves building and maintaining strategic relationships at all levels with government stakeholders, defense agencies, and industry partners, with a focus on driving growth in the defense sector.
- Identify business opportunities, managing proposals and bids, and ensuring effective communication and corporate engagement with relevant government bodies.
Key Responsibility Areas
Business Development:
- Strategic Planning & Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the defense sector, aligned with corporate goals and government requirements.
- Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification: Monitor trends in the defense industry and identify opportunities for growth through government contracts, partnerships, and tenders.
- Proposal Management: Lead the development of proposals, tenders, and bids for government defense contracts, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
- Partnership Development: Identify and establish partnerships with key industry players, defense contractors, and government agencies to promote business growth.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Oversee negotiations and management of government contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company and compliance with defense regulations.
- Government Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement.
- Government Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between the company and governmental bodies, defense departments, and public sector stakeholders.
- Shall be responsible for maintaining government relationships at all levels.
- Advocacy & Policy Influence: Represent the company in government meetings, defense policy discussions, and public hearings to advocate for business interests and influence policy decisions.
- Public Affairs: Manage the companys image and reputation in the defense sector, ensuring alignment with corporate and government expectations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure the company adheres to all relevant government regulations, defense laws, and compliance requirements.
Corporate Communications:
- Internal Communications: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding business development goals, regulatory changes, and key corporate affairs initiatives.
- External Communications: Oversee the creation of external communication materials, including press releases, presentations, and media outreach related to defense business.
- Crisis Management: Support the company in managing any public relations or corporate issues related to government contracts or defense activities.
