Job Description: As a Senior Product Designer in our Product Development Department, you will play a pivotal role in creating and innovating unique Home Decor, Gifting and Packaging products. You will be responsible for designing and developing new products, creating prototypes and samples, collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring product quality, and keeping abreast of industry trends and customer preferences. Your creativity and design expertise will be crucial in maintaining our brand's commitment to quality and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Design and Develop Unique Gift Products: Conceptualize and design innovative gift products that align with our brand identity and customer expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather design requirements and create product concepts. Create Product Prototypes and Samples: Develop prototypes and samples to test and refine product designs. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to prototypes. Collaborate with Suppliers and Manufacturers: Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the successful production of designed products. Communicate design specifications, materials, and quality standards to partners. Ensure Product Quality and Brand Standards: Maintain a high standard of product quality and adherence to brand guidelines. Conduct quality assessments and product testing to identify and resolve issues. Stay Updated on Industry Trends and Customer Preferences: Continuously research industry trends, market competition, and emerging design concepts. Understand and anticipate customer preferences to create products that resonate with our target audience. Required Skills and Qualifications: Creativity and Artistic Abilities: Strong creative and artistic skills to develop unique and visually appealing product designs. Proficiency in Design Software: Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop). Ability to use design tools effectively to create and communicate design concepts. Knowledge of Materials and Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with various materials, production techniques, and manufacturing processes related to gift products. Ability to select appropriate materials and production methods for each project. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure that product designs are accurate and error-free. Ability to Translate Ideas into Tangible Products: Strong problem-solving skills to transform design concepts into physical products. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience as a Product Designer, preferably in the gift or consumer goods industry. A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of product designs and projects. Certifications: Relevant certifications or training in product design and development are a plus. Please note: We will give priority to candidates who are based in Gujarat, particularly in the city of Ahmedabad.
