Description:Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Controllership to join Xiaomi Indias Finance team in Bengaluru.This role will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and transparency in financial statements while supporting business growth and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Accounting:- Lead book closure, reconciliations, and financial reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.- Ensure compliance with Ind-AS, IFRS, and internal accounting policies.- Oversee P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting with accuracy and timeliness.Audit & Compliance:- Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits with external auditors and regulators.- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory norms.Controllership & Governance:- Strengthen internal controls and standardize accounting practices across business units.- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within Finance.- Identify financial risks and implement effective controls and remediation measures.Stakeholder Management & Leadership:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Tax, Treasury, and Business Finance.- Lead and mentor the controllership team to deliver excellence and & Experience:- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.- 8-10 years of experience in controllership, financial reporting, or audit.- Strong exposure to Ind-AS/IFRS, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and compliance frameworks.- Experience in FMCG, consumer tech, or manufacturing sector preferred.Key Skills & Attributes:- Deep understanding of accounting and financial control principles.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capability.- Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
