Job Title : Lead - MerchandisingIndustry : Jewellery / Fashion RetailLocation : BengaluruJob Overview:Seeking an experienced merchandising leader to drive category performance, product planning, and sales growth across multiple retail stores. The role involves end-to-end merchandising strategy, forecasting, product mix planning, new collection launches, pricing inputs, and sales interventions to maximize profitability.Key Responsibilities:- Develop seasonal sales forecasts, product mix, and annual merchandising plans- Approve store-wise sales mix and inventory expansion plans- Lead new product introductions, collection launches, and activation strategies- Drive national and regional sales interventions such as exhibitions and roadshows- Review product universe, identify gaps, and provide insights for improvement- Contribute to pricing policy, discount planning, and making-charge models- Benchmark gross contribution vs. competitors and manage variance- Create schemes to boost sales, liquidate SKUs, and support focused store strategies- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate growth levers into merchandising MBA from a reputed institute- 12-15 years of merchandising experience in Jewellery or Fashion categories- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills- Proven success in driving sales and profitability through merchandising strategy (ref:iimjobs.com)
