This Manager position is responsible to oversee the overall Business and Operations pertaining to Medical Devices testing /Electrical products testing (but not limited to) and must develop and manage the team, will be reporting to Business Head of the location.


Technical and Operations

  • Responsible for incoming business and develop future product testing especially in Medical Devices and Electrical products and Reliability testing. He is also should be responsible for the service delivery and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a strong customer relationship and act as a one-stop solution provider to customer.
  • Accountable for accurate testing of all the products as per ISO/IEC or other relevant standards.
  • Budgeting, Planning of resources, developing competency matrix and gap analysis with respect to testing
  • Defining Technical specifications for suitability of testing and coordinate with customer on updating the latest development in the corresponding area of compliance and testing
  • Act as an authorized SME for Medical safety and Electrical safety testing of various devices.
  • Coordination with sales team and plan the customer visit for technical/business development.
  • Ability to work with team with cross functional responsibility and develop great interpersonal relationship.
  • Well versed with various national and international standards like IS, ISO, BIS, IEC and other relevant standards and hands on experience with ISO 17025 accreditation
  • Develops and maintains procedures and policies to ensure adherence to corporate guidelines.
  • Monitors, manages, confirms, and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the services offered.
  • Performs quality management by systematically gathering data, analysing issues, identifying root causes, developing and implementing solutions, and measuring performance.
  • Support BS Heads in rolling out of the marketing, sales strategies, coordinate Cross Sales and also support in mobilization of resources to realize the targets set for the location.

Technical Management

  • Ensures the execution of the team’s strategy and objectives by coordinating the distribution of operative and administrative tasks within the team.
  • Communicates team relevant information, instructions and objectives to members transparently, is open to give and receive feedback.
  • Oversees team member’s work regarding the quality and alignment with the Group’s objectives and guidelines.
  • Provides support to team members in executing the local day-to-day business and acts as the first point of contact for technical questions and advice.
  • Responsible for setting priorities in daily business within the team, planning of presence and absence.
  • Responsible for coordinating and providing appropriate training measures to new and existing team members, if needed.
  • Contributes to achieve efficient and economical performance of the team in accordance with operating budgets, year-end goals and objectives.

QHSE

  • Ensuring job safety including the availability and usage of PPE.
  • Ensure incident reporting functioning.
  • Collect and document evidence of risk assessments for work activities of local business streams from HSE committee
  • Ensuring implementation & monitoring of corporate HSE management system requirements which is in alignment with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards and ensure effective processes for managing HSE, as relayed from the QHSE desk
  • Ensure adherence & cascading of the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities, within the location.
  • Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Process requirements.
