Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the hospital's pharmaceutical inventory ensuring adequate supply of medications and consumables.
  • Oversee the dispensing of medications adhering to standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure drugs and ensure the best terms for purchasing agreements.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory records to ensure accuracy and strict compliance with legal standards.
  • Facilitate communication between pharmacy departments and other hospital units for seamless operational flow.
  • Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction while maintaining quality and reliability of supply.
  • Regularly assess inventory management systems and practices for potential improvements in efficiency.
