Job Description:
As a Development & Support Engineer at Telesoft, you will be an integral part of our customer support team, ensuring seamless operation and satisfaction for our telecommunications services. You will work closely with customers to troubleshoot technical issues, provide assistance, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to customers.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to customized telecommunications services and software built in Node.js, Angular, etc.
3. Assist customers with setup, installation, and configuration of telecommunications equipment and services.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including network operations and engineering, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
5. Document and track root cause analysis and resolutions in our ticketing system.
6. Provide IT training and guidance to customers on using our customized B2B software services effectively.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in software support.
8. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
9. Contribute to the improvement of support processes and procedures.
10. Execute test cases and scenarios to identify software defects.
11. Document and report software defects, tracking them using designated tools.
12. Perform regression testing to ensure software stability across releases.
13. Linux System Management: Manage, troubleshoot, and support Linux-based servers and systems that are part of our telecommunications services, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
14. Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for container orchestration to enhance deployment and scalability of applications.
15. Telephony Systems: Configure and support Asterisk-based telephony systems, ensuring effective communication and call handling.
16. Networking: Manage and troubleshoot network configurations and connectivity issues, ensuring stable and secure network operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a technical support role within the telecommunications industry.
3. Strong understanding of telecommunication concepts, protocols, and equipment.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience with Linux operating systems, including server management and system administration.
6. Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
7. Experience with Asterisk and other telephony systems.
8. Knowledge of networking principles, configurations, and troubleshooting.
9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
11. Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
12. Customer-oriented mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
